Hi guys! I thought I would share some experience, strength and hope with anyone who wants it.

For 5 years I relapsed every 30 to 90 days until I got into AA and went to the recommended 90 meetings in 90 days, got a sponsor, started working the 12 steps and reading the big book of alcoholics anonymous.

It is amazing that I have not had a single craving for alcohol in 4 months and 1 day! The people in AA told me to go to 90 meetings in 90 days and if I did not feel better at day 90, they would gladly refund my misery! Well- I am sooooo much happier!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks Guys! I really do feel better and better everyday. Life is not always rosey, but compared to where I WAS, it is like night and day!

AA works if you work it!

I admire you for doing the 90 in 90. I HAD to stick my drunk butt in a treatment center, a LONG TERM treatment center and I'm so glad that I did. It does get easier too I've found.

Many people's disease convinces them that AA won't work for one reason or another.

I'm glad to see you could ignore the disease's lies and succeed.

I suggest reading the chapter in the Big Book, How It Works, it may answer your question. As a member of AA I am not much use to anyone if I don't know how to transmit a spiritual experience.

How it works will come with time, right now with 4 months clean the main point of focus is making sure it keeps working.
