i bought booze
Oh yeah, I forgot something very important. I've been having a really crappy time dealing with depression. It is an everyday battle. I have to remind myself of this little phrase every time that I want a drink--I have to give sobriety enough of a chance to work. I've been drinking for 6 years. Twenty six days sober is nothing compared to that
I like that. I'm going to file into my brain. Thanks for posting.
Screw the money you spent. Dump it! The battle is far from over. As long as the booze is in your house and the voice is calling, you will lose. Why take the chance? Silence the voice and dump the booze. It you really aren't sure whether or not you want to quit or not? I can see what direction you are leaning toward. Dump the booze and lean toward the other direction. You are playing with fire and you will regret it. It is not to late to change your direction.

Man...thank you all so much for so many posts!!!
UPDATE: somehow...I'm not sure how, as I didn't plan for it to be this way....I DIDN'T DRINK!!!!! My days remain intact!!! I'm looking for the receipt today, as well...I never was in the habit of keeping receipts, so not sure if I'll be able to find it...but I intend to try and return the bottles and buy myself something completely unnecessary to make up for it.
BTW, the tattoo that I got was an angel on the inside of my wrist, for those that were curious. Maybe the damn thing worked?!
Thank you all again...I feel I have real friends on here....and I love you all more than you know.

Dancing girl, so you're saying you are not ready? Can you even defend the points you just made? Not a chance. It is time clearly, but no one can make you do it except you. I think no hangovers alone is reason enough, but what about you have kids, your liver, death? I'd love to see you come right and say that you've made the decision. Otherwise you'll keep going in and out of sobriety until you do. Don't you think so?
