Tonight we're getting take out from a local wing place. It's kind of a Friday night tradition.

My hubby is out of town all week next week so I will need to plan my dinners in advance because I'm going to be running around a lot more than usual.

Yeah, put it in a non-stick skillet. The butter or margerine in the dough is enough. Try it with ice cream.

No but I've heard deep fried snickers rock!
I'm a newcomer to the south, and ate fried pickles (dipped in ranch dressing) for the first time on the 4th of July. So very much better than I thought it would be!

I like eating fried things but I hate cleaning up the oil spatters at home. I'm more likely to order it at a restaurant than make it myself

Uh Pattee - I had to google knish. What is Knish ?

In case anybody else didn't know. I look forward to your contributions. What's for dinner? We expect exotic, exciting and intriguing dishes from everyone. I put a frozen pizza in the oven tonight. Had a meeting at school. Dinner doesn't get more exotic then frozen pizza.

Oh abeetz! *sigh* I'm soon to head back to school in CT and the abeetz is one of the only bright points I'm seeing about that... Otherwise, I'm sorry, but the food scene in Nawlinz beats anywhere I've ever been but NYC!
Lol, I remember when I thought that red beans and rice was a vegetarian dish. Not the way it's done here!

I LOVE sweet potato fries.

And the food in New Orleans is DEFINITELY the best in the country. No doubt. I miss it SO SO MUCH.

I will happily post my dinners here on days when I cook. We got take-out wings tonight.
