My whine today is that I know I will be unable to whine for the rest of the week...that's NO WHINES people, what's a Queen of Whines to do? Tomorrow I am going up to member Mooselip's cottage and it's guaranteed to be a funfest filled with laughs and the occasional bear or moose (that would be a LIVE moose, not a family member) and lots of Mama Moose's apple pie.

So I will try to whine extra today and then not whine again until late Friday or Saturday.

Can we all just lighten up and get along!!!!!!

(not directed at anyone in particular, and just a momentary feeling!!!)

Many things are very serious for me, yet when I stop being able to laugh at myself....boy do I get out of wack...So every serious period must be followed by a time of humor or I run the danger of being swallowed by my own self.

Oh yeah...don't worry...love still sucks, but it's also pretty funny!!!!

Didn't realise it was a competition Rae. Thanks for your comments though NOT!
Naaah, Kevin! I'm not into one-ups-man-ship...just sharing on how it's always been with my own daughter. I will say, if she's a Daddy's Girl (as most of them seem to be), your daughter will probably come around sooner than later. Mom's and Daughters seem to butt heads...maybe because we are naturally competitive.

I cannot stand the 60 mile plus drive a day anymore!
I feel your pain, Rella. I never traveled more than 45 miles to any job...and, that was taking a bus and a train!

My daughter bought a house in Pennsylvania, but still works in New Jersey. She had been driving two hours each way since June 2007. What with the price of gas and all, she finally got a job much closer to home...more money, but no benefits...she had to weigh the options. Hope your move turns out well for you.

Here comes my whine...

I watched Phelps win the seven gold medals, and was waiting anxiously to see the eighth swim. They said it was going to be "on Sunday"...they didn't specify Sunday Bejing Time, which was Saturday night USA Time...I slept right through it! What the heck!

BTW...if anyone else has been watching the Olympics, are the "old gals" kicking a$$, or what!?! Forty-one year old American medaling in swimming; thirty-three year old German getting gold for the vault; 38 year-old (Hungarian ?) coming in first for gold in the marathon...twenty-six stickin' miles, people! I am woman...hear me roar!!!

They are awesome Nonny! Gold for the old!

And that is great about your daughter - glad she weighed options in the right direction-benefits can be fairly cheap- on your own if you get the right policy...

I will be doing 6 miles to work when I move-it cannot come quickly enough! Thanks

I slept all day yesterday.
I have a family member in the hospital.
Many problems, possibly Lymphoma along with some other long-term things.
Some addiction problems (meth) ...... he's lying about it but did open up to me a little bit.
He's mad at me because I didn't keep it to myself. I'm going to visit him tomorrow evening. Hopefully have some time alone so we can talk.

Okay PD!

I'll take that challenge..

Today's the deadline for a response to an IRS bill for 4,000....

Thought it was all over...don't have it.

Small disability income..way under poverty level...have to call them

today..but..I know it will work out.

How? Don't know how..just know it will.

The alkie in me did put it off until the last day to respond tho'...

*Lol*... classic.

I have the day off today.
This morning, in a brief moment of insanity, I told my wife that I was thinking of washing the windows today (WTF?)
She will be home in 2 hours.
28 windows. I counted them. Thats a lot of windows.

"Dear, I didn't wash the windows but I counted them!"

Better get started. One window at a time - OWAAT.
