Mourning Sister
Hello everyone,
My name is WeeSis and I lost my brother on 11th July this year.
He was a recovering alcoholic, but his body had fought his illness to long.
Im here because I want to help and support other people suffering from addictions, I think it will help me a lot in this healing process.
Good luck to everyone xx

Weesis, welcome to the SR family. Losing my one sibling is unimaginable to me, so I can't fathom what you're going through. Please accept my sincere, heartfelt condolences. I agree, helping others who are struggling with the same condition that took your brother from you might help you heal. It's also very courageous and kind. Thank you

Sorry for your loss. I also lost my step-sister when she was 40 years old. It wasn't directly to alcohol but I wouldn't doubt that it was a factor. I know that you are having a hard time dealing with it. It is great that you came here to try and help other people.
It is a way to try to help you also. It takes a while and you just have to go through the steps. Thanks!!!!

weesis, I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my sister a little over 3 years ago.. It is not easy no matter the circumstances. Watching them deteriorate into nothing and knowing there is nothing you can do but be there for them. You are in my prayers and I wish you great strength and happiness
