Thanks all, I do need to remember that I am worth getting sober for. I've always been a "people pleaser" and need to try hard to get out of that role. I think that because of that I am even harder on myself. I also know that if I do things for other people it won't work or last. Oh and by the way, I'm a Psychology major getting ready to start my internship in the Fall so the pressure's on. This is my only outlet for now until my husband decides to either quit wih me-he knows he has to-or doesn't drink around me. I've heard there are other support groups besides AA that are smaller, more intimate "closed" groups which might work better for me. Anyone heard of Celebration Recovery?
