Well,
I just sent Ananda an intervention PM...hehehe. In the message, I forbade her to pay anything other than the essential bills this weekend, and I limited her cleaning to one hour tonight, 2 on Sat, and 1 hour of laundry on Sunday.
The rest of the weekend, I ordered her to do fun things.
Anyone else need an intervention here? I'm feelin' bossy!

Thanks for this starting the thread Astro!
For a change, I've just realized that I have LOTS of plans for the weekend!! And the activities are a nice balance of interesting, responsibility and fun.
* Finally clean out my flat (right now it looks like a flea market!)
* Have Mum over for lunch (I'll be cooking that veggie lasagna that she adores)
* Best friend's bday party!! First official outing since sobering up, my friends are starting to wonder if I fled the country. REALLY looking forward to seeing them all - booze will probably be involved, but I really feel up to the challenge now and will stick to club soda
(UGH! booze!) So no worries there.
* Hang out in SR, indulge in my new addiction: games over @ Cafe Central; attend Photonic's meeting on Saturday night (REMINDER!! 9 PM EST) Chat away with my SR friends.
* Maybe finish writing a few short stories.
* Sleep and rest a lot; take a couple of long walks.
* Highlight: Amazon shipment arrived a few days ago. So I'm really looking forward to stocking up on goodies, lots of cola and tea, and spend hours reading

I have not a ton planned for the weekend since I gotta work tonight and tomorrow but all I know other than that is I wont be relapsing. Maybe some reading and visiting my grandparents for lunch possibly.

My flat and the concrete new start it offered have fallen through. I'm stuck for the forseeable future in this grim, little, mining, 'burb. My flatmate moves down to London in 3 weeks, feeling like I wanna spend the weekend doing what this chap does.

No link, no video, no special plans. Lots of walking the dogs if the weather is right and watching movies as I please. My idea of a good time! My own private Imax theatre on my desk! And a lot of DVDs. Popcorn too!

Well, I was forced into doing "fun" stuff even though I thought I had no entertainment budget to spend this weekend.
My uncle came over last minute (only an hour before the game, good thing we don't live that far!) with two free pro football pre-season game tickets for Sat. night so I took my teen son. Our team won! And it was the first pro football game either of us had ever seen. My son was so thrilled that it was worth all the traffic and hassle. It was a lot of good excersizing getting to our seats and back to the car, too!
And my sis and niece took me to see a cute movie, Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, Part 2. Big, buttered popcorn was included!
Just when you think you're too broke to have fun, stuff comes out of nowhere! Just goes to show you, when you're clean, and you just show up for your life, a lot of good things can happen! Did anyone else do anything interesting?

This week flew by. Nothing speacial planned for the weekend except moving my computer in my room so the kids can have this room all to themselves. Like a rec room.
Alot of toys piled around the house and stuff. And we dont even have kids. But my lil couisns are here so much.
Just going to relax after that. Enjoy life. Take it easy.

I just like this thread..I cant wait for the weekend now for all the right reasons.
Since I started working the mon-fri job. Which I have never had before. I usually always worked weekends. I really enjoy my weekends now.

Ok so this weekend let's see-Dog to the groomer and me to the storage room to clean out at least 2 of the 3 
before I move October 1st.
Living out of the storage room is not what I call fun! Hope to post something Happy in 6 weeks as I will be all moved in by then....
