Welcome Realshaw!! Glad you came here cause this is a great place to get support and feedback from some really great people! 1 day at a time is all I can really suggest for you right now. You gotta want to do this to get through and even in your lowest of lows you have to say no to giving up!! Best wishes and look forward to hearing about your recovery! Bruce |
Congrats on day 1 and welcome to SoberRecovery. :) |
Welcome to SR Realshaw! Yep, sobriety happens one day at a time. What do you have planned for a program of recovery? Keep reaching out for support, we don't do this alone! |
Hi Realshaw, welcome to SR. You won't find a bunch of people who are more supportive, caring, kind, wise, funny, helpful (well, you get my point!). Keep posting, because we are all here for you! |
Welcome Realshaw, It's been said already, but just concentrate on not frinking today. Don't worry about tommorow. When that day comes, it will be "today" again, so that is all you will have to worry about. What are your plans for the weekend? Try to stay away from people / situations which may prompt you to drink. Hope to hear from you soon! Tom |
Welcome to the rest of your life...! keep coming back. |
Congratulations on your wise decision. Welcome to our recovery community |
Hi Realshaw! I'm glad you decided to quit, (Good on ya!) I did the same thing, then found this website, and never looked back. I have 58 days under my belt. Welcome here, Heavy |
