Way to go Thomas, I remember how I felt back when I had just about the same amount of time as you. It's a great feeling to be achieving something like that.

You've got the whole of the rest of your life to look forward to now without the stigma of alcohol, no more chains.

Good luck to you, and well done for having the courage to see this through so long - whatever you're doing it looks like it's working, so keep it up.

I love how many heros are on the board. So many people making it happen... I'm so grateful for you, Thomas.:ghug3

I also love these hilarious emoticons.

Day 15! I actually had a dream that I started drinking again. It was so horrible and disappointing. I was so relieved when I woke up.

I'm still just a couple days ahead of you - 19. I lost a couple of pounds and have noticed my face doesn't look as "puffy" in the mornings.

I'm glad you're doing well too!

Thomas, *****oooooooooo! 20 Days!!!!

What has made me so determined is my writing. There is no doubt in my words. There is affirmation! I write things like used to, was, when I drank, before, had etc. It keeps me on the right road with conviction. It reiterates my absolute desire for a new life, my old life before wavering. It has only been 3 days for me but I know I have made a 180. I'm heading back, as straight as a crow flies, as fast as I possibly can. Welcome back to this wonderful world!
Prayers
