How many hours?

I don't want to keep bringing up the past, however I find it very important to remind myself DAILY that I am an alcoholic, and I CANNOT drink. A couple of years ago while I was going to conseling (court ordered) my conselor asked this simple question.
"How many hours in a week did you drink". To my surprise, when I added everything up, it came out to a MINIMUM of 54 hours a week. It's sad, but I still did not want to admit that I had a problem. My god, that's more than I spent working :wtf1:

Wow, 54 hours! I'm going to try to add mine up too, I bet it will amaze me...

The hours add up quick when you spend the whole weekend with a drink in hand

I'm not sure how many hours a week I spent drinking, but I thought about alcohol all the time. What a waste of time!

I shudder to even think about it, especially when I consider the stuff I blew off so that I could drink. Feels like, for a while there, I spent every waking hour either drinking or hungover (or both!). Ugh. Talk about *killing* time... literally. Slowly coming to terms with that though, I hope it will be a lesson learned.
