Introducing myself

My name is Mala and I have a year-and-a-half of continuous sobriety, thanks to AA. I attend meetings three times a week in local towns and am hoping to find a BB study group. Although I don't have a sponsor, I find close friendships within AA work well for me and I read a great deal on the Steps and genral AA literature. Sobriety has been an exponential learning curve and I can honestly say that for me the Promises have exceeded my wildest expectations.

I am looking forward to cyber support and discussion here on this forum, welcoming a chance to get to know all of you.

Thanks for the welcome! In my home group, many others have 25, 27 and 30+ years, so I feel very newish. But when I remember how I could not stay sober even one day during the last year of my drinking, it is a miracle to have 16 months.

I am so grateful to be sober and live and able to enjoy today!

Hugs

Mala
