re ways to describe non-alc drinks...
1) In NZ we have a govt ad campaign for sober drivers...so big that is has become a verb among youg people, as in "I am sober-drivering tonight". And so you have sober-driver drinks
2) I personally have "healthy" drinks or "I will be bouncing out of bed tomorrow" drinks
And a tip as a vege, I aways double or triple check what I have been given. "Are you sure it is...", "Can you just confirm it is..." Not sure if that works for drink but it has stopped meat dishes being served to me...
