I am sorry for unloading this on you guys. I just don't know how to deal with this crap. I am trying so hard...and he keeps coming back with bs. I guess I need some advice...

First of all, you are not 'unloading' on us.

Second - he's probably trying to figure out which buttons to push so don't reward his behavior by jumping when he pushes. Try to take it all in stride and be non-emotional. If he realizes he can't 'get your goat' so to speak maybe he'll give up.

PS... the only 'power' he has is the power you give him.

I have the same problem dealing with idiots... especially when the idiot I'm dealing with is me! No, seriously, I can understand. My ex is sort of idiotic sometimes too and it's hard to just ignore him when I'd like to get a bit violent with him.

This too shall pass. Don't play his game and maybe he'll take his balls and go home.

Tommy hit the nail on the head!!! Unless you all have kids there is no reason he should even be contacting you.

If there is no reason for him to talk to you get a restraining order and enforce it.

If you talk to him on the phone you are giving him power over you.

If you open an email from him you are giving him power over you.

If you answer the door when you know it is him you are giving him power over you.

This is one thing you do have control over, but only if you take it.
