...how many friends I have here! Y'all view my posts and offer great advice. You have become my strength and my wisdom. I will not drink today. I will let things that I have no control over go. I am slowly, but surely, realizing that I deserve to have a better life. One that I enjoy and can control. I am sorry if I am rambling, but I am trying very hard to stay here and not drink.

You do deserve a good life and it's hard to accept that sometimes.

But, believe it!

I agree flgirl - it is amazing to me that we all offer so much to one another here. I know I am blessed to have found this site.

Just stay here if that is what you need for right now. And YES, you do deserve a better life, and with the attitude you have right now, you are well on your way. :ghug

I am riding a really hard rollercoaster right now. I know I will be ok. I am just gonna stay here for as long as it takes!

I am having a very hard time, but will keep writing because I will not drink! If someone could talk to me that would be great!

I am not gonna cave in. I will not. I am gonna color my hair...put the xmas decs away, but I am not gonna give in to this...I will not.

There are a few out on my lanai. LOL..I am listening to Bridge over troubled water. simon and garfunkel. My 9th grade English teacher taught me about poetry through them. Still hanging on by a thread, but hanging on.

I love simon and garfunkel. My fav song of theirs is "for Emily, whenever i may find her."

I glad to see you hanging on, whatever you do, just dont drink.

You can do this! You can keep telling yourself "I"im going to stay sober", over and over. Come here or stay here for strength and encouragement. Someone will always be here. I have faith that you can make it without drinking.
