48 hours, doc appt soon

Okay, I am a nervous wreck right now. Still woke up with a headache, but I did get some sleep.

I am terrified about what my doctor is going to say/do. Part of me wants to cancel the appointment but I won't.

I need to face him, and this addiction, head on.

I am afraid he is going to make me feel so horrible and guilty even though his nurses were so kind to me.

And with still having physical pain from the surgery, I just don't want to see him or anyone. I just wanna stay home.

BUT, I'm going. Please think of me today.
Thanks.

Your gonna be fine Amelia.
You never know. You could come out feeling better than before.
Just be honest and let him know about all the pain and all your concerns.
Let us know what happens when you get back.
I will be thinking of you.
This is a good thing your doing.

Please, don't look ahead.

Don't conjure up negative outcomes.

It needs to be addressed, address it with an open mind.

You are taking a big step toward a better life.

AmeliaA!

I will be thinking of you today! I think you are doing the best thing possible, tell your doctor, even if he's not pleased, he should know what to do. This is the beginning of a bright healthy future. TommyK said it right, "Don't conjure up negative outcomes" If anything, conjure up positive outcomes because that's what will really happen. hit it head on! and say everything you need to.

We'll be here when you get back!!

Hi Amelia,

Remember no one has the power to make you feel bad about yourself. And, if necessary, you can change doctors. But, hopefully the dr will be professional and understanding.

Let us know how you make out.

Thank you all SO much.

Chi, you have become someone special here to me in just a couple days. Thank you.

I will let all of you know how it goes.

Appt is at 230pm

It's an hour drive there, he is double booked, so I am expecting an hour long wait once there, then probably two hours to get home in rush hour. So don't worry if you don't hear from me until later.

Gotta love the Metro areas.
