3 months and under club
I couldn't find the 3 mos. and under club, so started a new one...
I have 74 days today! Feeling pretty good. One of the guys at my 60-day meeting said "You've had some really bad breaks during your early recovery, a break-up of a 3-year relationship, your parents' house destroyed by a tornado, being accidentally stuck by a junky's used needle, your financial trouble, your sponsor telling your kid about your addiction. I think that if you survived all that stuff in your first 60 days, you are really going to make it." It touched me that he had been listening to me enough to remember all my stuff, I never knew people were listening (I only share very briefly, about 1-2 minutes a meeting at most, if I do share) and I always thought that I just kinda faded into the background. And it touched me even more that he thought I will make it. I'm going to make it. It helps to have people who are pulling for me.
