i cant believe this

i got my bloods back and i cannot stop crying.
They were normal.
Ive been given a second chance at life and i refuse to stuff it up poisoning myself and living in self destruct mode.
This forum has been my LIFELINE through this difficult time, thank you all so much.

Good to hear super :) It's always good to know that one hasn't reached the point where permanent damage has been done. This is your chance, this is your time, keep it up!!!!

There's a Higher Power watching over you, and He is showing Himself to you right now.

Stick around, stay sober, and carry the message to others.

Wonderful! Same thing happened to me, and I could hardly believe it. With decades of heavy drinking, I was preparing for terrible news & ready to accept my punishment for being a fool. Our poor bodies, coming back time & again from the torture! I've read alot of good suggestions regarding nutrition, Super - we need a good B-Complex for one thing. We alcoholics are usually malnourished. Congratulations! It's a brand new day for you.

ive also always been a fitness freak- used to think i could drink what i wanted aslong as i ran miles everyday- until the drinking got so bad i could no longer do it.
I couldnt believe i was ok- i made the receptionist check 3 times... i drank every night for four years solid and blacked out just about every time.
If i didnt believe in my higher power before, i sure as hell do now.

I'm so happy for you. Now take that worry out of your life and leave it behind you. Horray!!

That is wonderful to hear. A true testament to God's amazing grace.

I drank off and on (mostly on) for 40 plus years with the last eight - HEAVY. when the doctor looked at my screens and said he couldn't tell that I had ever touched a drink. :c029:

God is good. My prayers to you for continued health.
