Ok, so getting sober isn't going so well. I go for a few days, drink for a few days, blah, blah blah. This past week-end I drank to much and did something incredibly stupid, and I have not had a drink since.
Yesterday, I had a really bad day at work and got ripped into by my boss for something that I was innocent of. Of course, it happened really close to quitting time. Normally, I would swing by the liquor store on the way home. But instead I drove around and talked to my daughter on the telephone until I wasn't upset any more. I went home and did not drink.
That is unusual for me not to drown my sorrows. Every sober day is a good day and one step closer to recovery.

I completely relate...Wow some of the things we do when we drink!
You wake up the next day saying wow your so stupid how could you do that? Or you may not remeber and someone has to tell you what stupid thing you did and all you can say is... No I did not do that...did I? LOL
