My lifetime journey now begins..............

Hello to all!

Just a quick introduction to declare my sobriety.

This is my first post and hopefully it will not be my last.

Just happened to stumble across this site a few weeks ago.
After reading many posts about alcoholism, I`ve finally accepted that I to have a problem with excessive amounts of alcohol.
It`s like when I used to smoke - I had to finish my pack before I went to sleep!

My sobriety began @ 23:59hrs on the 29th May 2008
I`m 42 years of age, and I want my energy back!!
2 yrs ago I quit smoking!
1 yr ago I quit drinking coffee!
And to complete the hat-trick - freedom from alcohol!

My lifetime journey now begins..............................

Tellus - I'll tellu......

Try drinking boiled water to begin with and gradually increase the frequency.
Coffee seems abit like alcohol in that it really dehydrates your body......
I`ve never had a headache or migrane since I gave up drinking coffee either. ( besides a hangover! )

Give it a go and Tellus how you Go!

Welcome, JustWaterThanks! Best of luck as your lifetime journey begins. I know you can do it, after all, you quit coffee! I've tried a few times, with no success.
