You will do great!!! I am so happy for you!! It is normal to be nervous when starting anything new, for everyone, not just us in recovery. I am so excited for you....what wonderful news. Nothing like that first paycheck that you earned...I always splurge with the first paycheck, I buy something I have been wanting, but could not afford (for me it was probably a pair of Adidas!!!) Then I try to be responsible!!! You will do great!!! YAY!!!!

I think you will do great like the others said. It might be good to have your mind on a job. I know it is good to focus on other things in life. Some times I get to rapped up in myself.

My sister got a job after raising her kids. She was terrified that she could not do it. But she just loves her job. She can hardly wait to get to work. The pay check seems like a bonus to her. She just loves to get out of the house because that time is for her.

Please let us know how it goes.

I think we al get a little nervous when starting a new job.
I know I do. I have to do affirmations like crazy to get myself hyped up and ready.
Your going to do great.
Just be yourself and have confidence that youll do wonderful.
Once you get there and situated it wont be as nerve racking.
Congratulations..Good luck!

Congradulations! I know that you have been looking for a while. I hope that you keep in moving better and better ahead!

When I start a new job, I get everything ready the night before:
!) Food for the evening and morning
2) Clothes cleaned and pressed and ready to put on - litterly I lay them out the night before
3) Transportation - Schedule, maps, gas, etc

I also get up early have a relazing time before leaving to go.

Hope this helps, let us know how it goes!!!!!!

Regards,

Congratulations! Just get through that first day, just like something else we all know of, and you'll be fine. The unknown is the scary part, but after the first day it will become known. You'll have to learn some stuff, but obviously they thought you were a good fit and they hired you. Now the tough part is believing you are the right fit yourself. You'll be fine and keep us up on how the first day went. Please!

Butterfly-7,

I'm glad you found a job. It's really hard to find fault with someone who is trying their best. Just try your best and that's all anyone can ask. I bet you'll do great. Let us know!

Check out your state's labor laws. 30 min break for an 11 hour day doesn't seem like it's legal.
