Unhappy Lost another Kitty

Hi everyone, well i lost another kitty since I've been sober. We had to put Kitty-Sue down last night. She's my avatar picture for now. We done all we could for her and she wasn't getting any better. She had a urinary tract problem of some kind. We done all kinds of tests and medicines to no avail. She also had very severe arthritis in her lower back we found out. So between her peeing problem and her back she was in a lot of pain.

We just lost Tammy back in Feb when i was 31 days sober. Now here we are again With Kitty-Sue and I'm 4 months sober this week. It's really hard but I'm not going to drink over this. I just have to trust in my HP.

Barb

I'm so sorry to hear that you lost Kitty-Sue, but I'm glad that she isn't in pain any longer. I'm proud of you for staying sober through these trials, Barb.

Oh, Barb, I am so sorry.

I can't imagine how hard this must be for you, but I'm proud of you for not drinking.

I didn't see your post about her on the whiner's thread until this morning and sent you a pm asking about her....sorry for the bad timing.

How is Lois doing? I'm sure she's a little confused, too, but glad she has you to love her.

Hugs and prayers!

Amy

Tammy met Kitty Sue at the Rainbow Bridge & they are together now! I'm sure of it. You'll see them again someday! Meanwhile, congratulations to both of us, since I'm 4 mos. sober tomorrow! Honestly, Barb - I never expected to make it this far - I just put one foot in front of the other and here I am. I'm sure you're glad to be facing this loss with a clear head and no hangover or jitters to add to your misery. Sending love up your way, Joanie

Sorry to hear of your loss Barb, we have three cats and they are great company(even if they call the shots).
Congrats on your four months, best wishes.

Barb, I love my cats too. I have had them die in my arms with FIV and my heart broke.
We give them the best life they could have, I know you gave your cat the best life it could have.

Sigh, Barb,

I'm so sorry for your loss. This is what we have to bear when we love our pets so very much. Know in your heart that you did what was right by her.

Big hugs.

Karen
