This is very, very hard. I'm very anxious and sort-of hyperactive today.:grumble: And it's only been 12 hours!!! Good Lord! Does it get easier? |
Yes, ZuZu, because I care... Previously, if I remember correctly, you were a bit ambivalent as to whether you needed to stop or simply reduce your consumption. You seemed to hope for the latter. I'm just wondering what has changed, that's all. I think all of us in recovery can write a book as to why we chose to do it. Because it is something that we struggled with for so long it wasn't something we arrived at casually. Please don't take my words as condescending or inflammatory. I simply want you to succeed. And I think that in order to do so, you will need deep conviction and a sense that you have no other recourse. All the best to you. I am just one here who is cheering you on. I am sober today because I daily ask myself "why?" warren |
the desire is in you to stop, It's in all of us, but Hon to be Honest It's a star, but you going to need to do more then that if you really want this, you star it Good by making that decision of getting rid of whats toxic in your home but now you need to see a doc promptly and see what he has to say and send you to a Detox, refer of course with his knowledge if you really want sobriety thats my advice to you It s not easy but It's not Impossible, what became Impossible was living in that insanity of using and drinking and expecting different results that was crazy so God Bless you on your Decisionhttp://i285.photobucket.com/albums/l...8/welcome6.gif |

Good Lord! Does it get easier? and even if it takes day one again and again...keep trying because you will find the miracle happen. You can do it. There is a bottle of wine sitting on my table (was a gift to my wife from work) I have no desire to open it and if/when it gets opened, I can sit there as other drink it and still stay sober. It does get easier. |

I still owe the wine store about $1500.00, and this is totally stupid. |

Way to go on that awesome move! Hang in there! You can do it! |
Good for you.... An honest talk with your doctor would have been wise. however...please read this link http://www.soberrecovery.com/forums/...at-we-did.html Not every one has the same experiences some will happen to you...some will not. Yes! you too can find sobriety Millions of us have. ...:yup: |
((((ZuZu)))) I don't know how I missed this, but much congratulations! I know you're struggling and searching for the answers. You can do this. Have you spoken to a Dr. about detox? You may need some medical help at the beginning, I did as well as quite a number of alcoholics/addicts. http://i273.photobucket.com/albums/j...uragement1.jpg Hang in there and keep posting. The Miracle will happen. Love, Judy |
