Hi friends.

Gotta tell ya, Im feeling so much better now. You guys rock.

Plus, notthelottamomma (Omg...whats her real name for crying out loud...I never get notthemommas name right) made a really cool post on my big meltdown thread that made me feel good.
She said she's gonna look at how her group of ladies might appear to the newcomer woman tonight. Just made me feel warm and fuzzy to know that some Julie girl could be going thru the same thing as me....but notthemomma will be watching for her.

1st interview - i came off crazy

2nd interview - she came off crazy

3rd interview -

we're having a city pick up tomorrow. you are allowed to put your old couches, mattreses, etc on curb and city will pick up at no charge (other than our over the top property taxes which we pay quarterly)...

so everyone is outside swapping old lamps and chairs and SHITE.

too funny! bunch of knuckleheads!

GRANT!

Parent...we do that here too. Once in the spring and once in the fall.
When we were teens we used to beg my dad for his van, cruise the 'hood, pick up junk and bring it home to my Martha Stewart-type mom who would have a fit!

See Julie, sharing your experience, strenght and hope is already bennifiting others!!!!!!

I don't have to ignore the person, guess was a missunderstanding. I had a mini blowup yesterday too.

But at least I try to deal directly with it now instead of letting it simmer

Speaking of simmer - I'm getting ready to cook a phesant. My hunter friends have promised me lots of birds when they come in season. Hope this turns out well, I always play with the recipe...when its good its really great and wehn its not good its awful!

I'll save some for you guys.

I like carrots.

That's called bulk trash pick-up around here. I never use it. Instead I break down my bulk trash (like lawnmowers) into smaller pieces and throw them in the weekly pick-up :rof

If I told ya all about my garbage...well...its good for the enviroment and all, but man its a pain.
We have a wet/dry/recycle program.
We have to have 3 different bags for waste. Blue is for paper, plastic, cans...anything that would go in a blue recycle bin.
Green- For food stuffs. Anything that can be turned into compost.
White- for non-recyclable garbage.
And they are talking about adopting a 4th bag....making us separate different blue bag items.

Hey...if you dont mind me asking...whats your property taxes. I like to compare.
We pay $3055.00 a year here at our house.

Quick check in. Teen had dentist and then we went straight to baseball. I'm back now but I'm going straight upstairs and under the kivers to read. It was pretty chilly out watching... had my winter coat & gloves on .

Good night peeps .

* I pay a bit more than that Julie. I'll look tomorrow and see how much. Let's talk water bills. Our minimum is $298 every 2 months BEFORE we even use a drop. It's ridiculous.
