It's hard to find the right words to say
 

how grateful I am for all of you, your love and support mean so much to me. When I feel so awful I tell myself that I don't deserve such kindness, but deserving or not, I will stay here with my friends.

I don't know what I'd do without you all.

I feel a little silly saying I love you guys cause I've never really gotten used to the whole having-a-relationship on line thing. But the truth is, I carry you all around in my head all day long. And I'm constantly thinking of one thing or another that one of you has written. It feels like I have a wonderful cast of characters from an amazing novel that no one else has ever read, in my head. And it's great. And I love this book. Especially since it's real.

I agree, Least - and when I think how close I came to never knowing SR even existed! I was searching for health issues of alcoholics when I stumbled on this place. I once would've laughed if someone had told me anything online could be this this vital to my mental health & my sobriety. This kind of support just is not available to me in my "real" life!

Hevyn actually you can find this support face to face right in Ocean City, I know this for a fact, I have a friend who got sober in AA in my area, he now lives in Ocean City and says they have great AA meetings there.

You offer kindness by honestly sharing your experience, strength, hope, and opinions with the rest of us. You deserve 10 fold in return!

That being said, am I the only one who is wondering why they have a beer toast smiley for this site??

I think none of us "feels" like we "deserve" it. We are all the same...addicts and

alcoholics helping one another. See, I believe that just as God is no respector of

persons, neither should any of us be. It doesn't matter if we have one day..or twenty

one hundred. We are all one drink away from a drunk or a drug away from a run.
