a new day

Today I feel alot better than yesterday. Thanks to everyone that was there for me yesterday. I still feel really down, but that is the natural course of things.

Hopefully, I can manage this tme.

Thank you!

Hey Jes,

Congrats on your sobriety.

If it gets bad again you could try this prayer, it kept me from doing a lot of dumb things:

"God, I'm agitated and doubtful right now. Help me to stop and remember that I've made a decision to let you be my God; give me the right thoughts and actions. God save me from fear, anger, worry, self-pity or foolish decisions, that Your Will not mine be done. Amen."

Jes,

Happy to hear from you and that you are still staying sober. The road is hard but it is definately worth it. Keep doing what you're doing.

Quick question... I have been feeling really tired lately . . . I find myself wanting to sleep when I am not at work and no matter what time it is I usually fall fast asleep and can stay that way for hours.

Is this part of recovery? Did anyone else experience this?

Thanks you guys. I know there is great support here. I used this site late last year and I plan on using your support and (hopefully) giving support when I can.
