The new message on my answering machine:
Hi! Sorry Im not home to take your call. Please leave a message and Ill get back to you when I can. Im making changes in my life....so if I dont call you back, you are one of the changes. Have a great day"

Ouch, that wouldn't work for me because I am terrible at returning phone calls even from my mother.
But good for you Julie, baby steps and you are heading in the right direction.

That's cute. I sure couldn't do it because customers call me at home. God forbid if I didn't call them back. lol

I like it. It's edgy. It reminds me of when my mother told me the world doesn't revolve around me so I recorded a message to the effect of : "Hi I can't take your call right now because the world does revolve around me and I'm too busy. I'll get back to you when I can."

Wow..... wouldn't work for me at the moment.... my answer machine broke and need new one.... have to come up with a message that is not so......so.....like yours...

But, good for you and to the point...... we all need to make more changes in our lives... You found one way that works for you for sure...
