Early on I considered meetings to be classrooms for sober living.
The more I attended...the quicker I learned.
By day 4...I was finished with my withdrawal

Hey Wolfey - yeah - sometimes I don't feel comfortable at an AA meeting. But most times I do, and it gets better as I learn which ones are best for me. We have a wide variety of groups and I attend all of them some (small town). Everyone is trying to work a program of recovery and I like them all. But some are more helpful to me than others. And if I'm struggling I tend to get more stubbornly intrenched in my s**t at some of the meetings and am more receptive at others.
Just keep going and the rest will fall in line as you go

i'd forgotten how kool A.A. meetings were. there aren't any within a resonable distance from where i live. but next month i'm going to my moms for a couple of weeks. i've bene to meetings there in the past. i'll go while i'm there.
