routine

recovery is taking 5 steps forward, then taking 2 steps back, and five forward over and over again

things do get better over months and months

For some it may go that way. For me it was...5 steps forward...rest a bit...rest a bit more...plateau for a few years and then one day I started to run forward and I don't want to look back. There may be anther plateau or a step back in my future but for now I am enjoying the growth.

Equalibrium, your post leads me to believe that you have relapsed. Am I correct, or what do you mean by 5 steps forward 2 steps back.

lol i havnt relalpsed im just saying there always an obstucle after you try to move forward hence taking two steps back, but you do gain distance slowly

I can totally relate to this...my defects of character mean that I can't totally go forward, I do go a couple of steps back each time through my own self will (getting better) but I am always further forward than where I started! Always - even if just the 3 steps!
