Relapse Kills A woman in my recovery group was found dead in her bed this morning. Her family found her. She was in her early 40's and had gone through a 13 day binge, she stayed sober for a few hours before bedtime. This is a deadly serious issue......Relapses can and do kill people. Please seek out medical help when detoxing. Seren |

Seren, I am so sorry to hear this. I hate this disease and what it does to people. It's never too late to get sober, but always talk to your dr. |

:ghug It is a heartbreaking reminder to see someone go back out and not make it back that it still isn't working for the alcoholic to drink. I think I will take the lesson and work on my sobriety. Thanks for the post and I wish you the best, prayers for you and her family and friends. |
