Beginning of a new me
I just accidentally stumbled onto this website when I was looking for an inspiring quote. I decided to get alcohol out of my life two days ago and I can tell this is going to be an uphill battle for a while. A lot of what I have already read from members is very inspiring. Just want to say thank you for being there to accidentally stumble upon. It seems as if I were meant to find this site to help me through this, and hopefully to help others too. Thanks again.
Hello Crji,
I too happened to just stumble upon this site during the begininng of my journey into sobriety. It really is a happy & helpful place. Lots off good information and support. Welcome to the forum.

Hi Crji- I'm with you on the fear of days ahead. I've decided to take the day by day approach, as the thought of time stretched out before me without the comfort of my glass of wine . . . .is to put it mildly, terrifying.
Good luck to you and hopefully we will continue to progress toward a more healthy existence.

Welcome to SR!!!
I'm kind of like glass prisoner....I don't think it was a coincidence. I've found that when I finally decided to stop using, and was open to getting help, several "coincidences" popped up.
There are some wonderful people here, and you will soon have friends all over the world!
Hugs and prayers!
