Its my 3rd day without narcotic painkillers and its the hardest day. Feel like crawling out of my skin, extremely body tired and sore all over. I was clean for just about a year and then started having major back problems from a previous car accident. My first love was alcohol, binge crack user, marajauna and opiates. I started back on the pain pills due to pain, Dr. was aware of my addiction so kept me at tyenol 4's, after awhile I noticed the same addicted behaviors......"Well I'm not in pain right now, what would be the harm in popping a few of these with my morning coffee" well needless to say this went on for 4 months. Well you probably get the picture it just got continually worse.
I have decided I don't want to go down that road again, it just about took my life several times. I want to try different ways to relieve the pain, but first of all have to go through these ffffing withdrawals again. NO FUN...Its very difficult right now and know it will get easier in time, but its really hard to believe that right now. My body is screaming for the drug...
Keep me in your prayers. The desire's of my heart is to be totally drug free, I don't want to block the sunlight of the Spirit no more... God Bless

My sons grandfather was a drinker. He said that the memories of quitting was soooo hard. It kept him from starting. He said it was not worth it.

Hang in there tiger, I know what you're going through. Just went through it week before last. Soaking in a warm bath is good advice, definitely helps. It'll all be over soon.
