Congrats! Be sure to drink lots of replenishing liquids and get plenty of rest. Your body will need time to heal. :ghug2

chamomile tea helps too if you get too nervous. I was also told to drink orange juice with Karo syrup to replace the carbs that alcohol used to give you. Best to you. this is day Three for me and I'm starting to feel human again!

Thanks All!!

I really appreciate the responses - I am feeling better already after drinking a vanilla milkshake and taking a hot bath. The truth is that I am a binge drinker - I go at it full force until I literally fall apart - then I pick myself up and am ok for maybe a few months or a year..then it happens again. I need to seriously look at my patterns, my life. I am not into AA although I have nothing against it - it is just not for me. I used to go quite a bit a few years ago. Anyway - I am also attempting at quitting smoking because both my drinking and smoking went hand in hand. I am going to bed early tonight..

:praying
