I know in my case, I was so busy covering up my emotional pain with alcohol that I was totally oblivious to the pain I was causing others. I feel so sorry for you and your mom. I'm sure she had no idea the position she was putting you in. A very sad story.

Take care of yourself and concentrate on the health of your baby. Easy to say with all that you still have to go through. Let other's do most of the managing--you stay involved but in the background.

I am sorry to hear that for you and mother. My prayers are with you. You wanting a drink is not unusual. It's a brain disease and early on it still has the same reaction to stress. Good luck.
