First AA meeting
 

I went to my first AA meeting. It went pretty well. Everybody was very nice and I intend on going back. I really want it to work.

AA saved my life and a lot of others. Like with any thing else good in life. it takes work and it takes time.

I just noticed you got numbers, a very good habit to form is calling people in the program. call a couple a day minimum just to talk, that will make it a lot easier to call them if you get a real strong urge to drink. They have been right where you are at, they now what it is like and would be far happier if you called them before you drank then after.
