Saved a whine for today....the whine du jour is people who try to control another group of people (now imagine a codie complaining about "control", )

At an evening business meeting for fundraisers this week, outside my work, the chair refused to adjourn the meeting until his request for volunteers for a specific job was met. And then everyone sat there looking at each other in silence...except ME.

The Queen does not need permission to "adjourn". Nooooooosirrrrreeee Bob.

The Queen of whines put her coat on and said "you'll have to excuse me, I needed to be home half an hour ago", and with a regal smile, I left.

Harummmmmfffff....ain't NOBODY gets to "adjourn" the Queen!!!!

We had a tornado in Atlanta last night. So, since I work on the northside of town, have just driven through downtown (where it hit), how did I find out? Because WLDKATZ (Pamm) called to make sure I was all right! Now, that's really cool, but don't you think the weathermen would have at least mentioned "conditions are favorable". Nope, I hear it from Michigan!!!

My angels have been working overtime and I'm grateful. If I hadn't gone to work early, we would have been driving right where it hit. SEC games are in town....they are going to have to be moved. 10-12 people injured, none seriously. There is another storm heading this way, and I'm hoping if Elvis and I get blown anywhere, it's to Michigan so I can hug Pamm 'cause I got warm fuzzy feelings when she called to check on me.

Hugs and prayers!

Amy

Well, part of Atlanta is already under a tornado watch, and the storm hasn't even gotten here yet....it's supposedly causing tornadoes in Alabama, on it's way here.

And to top it off, I've been a victim of identity theft. Responded to an e-mail I thought was from my bank (didn't listen to my gut), giving my social security number, pin, etc. Well, it wasn't from the bank. Luckily called the bank within 5 minutes and acct. has been closed, new one opened, and fraud alerts to all 3 credit bureaus. Next time my gut says "this may be a scam", I'll listen!

Amy- stay safe. Tornadoes are so scary. Good thing you called the bank right away. Identity theft is another scary thing to deal with.

Same old whine for me today. My ribs are killing me where i hurt myself giving Chloe her medicine. I must of pulled something. Been hurting all week.
