Bumper Stickers
Bumper Stickers
Here are some bumper stickers I saw while riding on the newbie bus during my third day dry... Thought I'd share...
Anyone seen any good bumper stickers lately?

"24 Hours Today And Counting"

"My Evil Twin Is A Drunk -- And He's Me"
"Alcohol Is Unnecessary"

I have a bumper sticker on the back of my motorized wheelchair:
Higher Powered - Sponsor Driven
I love it...it was sent to me by someone I met right here at SR a couple of years ago.

"I'm a drunk -- alcoholics go to meetings"
Thank goodness, he accepted his alcoholism (along with AA), and had 22 years sober before he passed away a few years ago. I hope he's making that Big AA Meeting in the Sky!

Me, too, Carol!
As a newbie about 27 years ago, I remember driving down the Parkway on my way to an AA Women's Retreat, and a guy behind me honked his horn. I immediately thought, "OMG...I hope I didn't cut him off or something." Then, he gave me the "thumbs up" as he passed me; and I realized he, too, was "A Friend of Bill W." I felt so proud to be a member of AA!
