Newly sober
Hi everyone!
Just thought I'd introduce myself and say hello.
I'm vics and as of today I am giving up drinking. I need to finally admit to myself that just because I don't drink every day and just because every once in a while I do manage to drink without getting completely wasted that does not mean that I don't have a problem.

Hi Vics! For me the first 2 weeks were so hard so I applaud you. The biggest part of starting the process, for me, was admitting I had a problem - admitting it to my loved ones - and asking for help. It was so hard I thought I wouldn't be able to stand it. I felt like I was killing my best friend (alcohol) and it felt terrible. But it slowly got better - even each day - just a little. With a lot of support. Good luck to you. You can do it!!

Welcome to our community.
When I read "Under The Influence"
it was a Ah! Ha! experience.
I took the information and re connected
to God and AA.
I've not had another drink.
The chapter ..not posted here .. on nitrition
and supplements is excellent.
Let us know how you are doing.
