Just wanted to share. For anyone interested... I made it 8 days sober. Fell apart one night. Got sick as a dog over a very small amount of alcohol. I don't throw up, but I did this night. I also had the worst hangover that I have ever had! I felt way worse than when I was detoxing!! God was talking to me. I am involved with the AA online, and that is helping a great deal. F2F around here is only 2 meetings a week. Kinda tough to do 90/90 for me huh? So, doing it everyday online, sometimes 2 meetings a day. AA online is a great site, the BB online, and a chat module to attend meetings. Thought I would share, for anyone afraid of AA, come check it out. It is a great place to start! Alcoholics Anonymous Also, if I did something wrong about linking it and AA rules, sorry! Again, thank you ALL who have helped me here. You offered tools for me to get sober, and it really IS getting better everyday! My kids love their mommy again! lol |
glad you came back, mr mark! take good care of yourself, and keep posting! k |
Awesome... Thanks for being here and sharing! :) ~C |
Welcome and keep going! |
Welcome and way to go! I'm on day two and feeling positive. Kids are a great leveller aren't they, my nine year old has been rained off from his softball game today so he'll be here shortly. He loves me (his mum) too :0) That sounds like an interesting experience with the alcohol - your body was clean of it and it protested when you tried it again - I wonder if that's evidence of the allergy thing? |
Good to hear from you MM! So glad to hear things are turning around!:ghug3 |
:cheer MM! |
Well Done YOU !! Hang in There ! Sobriety is the gift that keeps on giving! Seren |
