Questions for people with more time...
 

Hey All- I'm currently at 6 weeks sober...here's my situation/question. Since stopping and getting through the initial detox/withdrawals I've felt much better physically....with one glaring exception...I have very bad heartburn/ indigestion...general bloated feeling with alot of belching ( sorry..gross I know) and gastro-intestinal stuff in general. Occurs both with and without eating...usually with. Sometimes in manifests as chest pressure and heaviness...that really freaks me out..I get all paranoid and stuff. Anybody else experience this in early sobriety...I do have a doctors appt. Thanks and I hope everybody is safe and well.

that is the right thing believe it or not.....alcohol does HORRID things to our stomaches, livers, pancreas ect.... after drinking for awhile, that is why a hospital detox is recomended due to all of the health problems that are covered by most drugs and alcohol......

Also you may want to ask about your B 12 shot, it works wonders.......

And be honest with your dr about everything from the drinking to constipation the more (S)he knows the better off YOU will be

I did not experience that kind of thing, but talking to your dr is the right thing to do.
