I remember how hard it was to say goodbye to my cat after 14 years together. I'm so sorry , Barb.

Hi, Barb --

I'm so sorry about Tammy. You did the right thing, though. I had my cat for 18 years, and even though I knew I should put her down, I just couldn't do it. As a result of my selfishness, she suffered more than she had to.

I'm thinking of you. It's so hard to lose a beloved pet. Take good care of yourself.

The last thing she knew was love and caring. She was a lucky cat. You set her free, and you will see her again. So very happy for you that you got through this horrible time without falling back on alcohol. Love, Joanie
