Day 29..is that a month up ahead?

Hey All- Sitting here at work on day 29...its hard to believe tomorrow will be a month sober for me. I haven't gone that long in years, literally. I'm going to a lot of mtgs, talking with people, staying on top of my importants meds....most of all trying to stay present in the day, the moment...not regretting the past and dreading the future. Anxiety remains an issue...I stay vigilant as this has often derailed me in the past. Anyway...work calls. i hope everybody is safe and well...thanks everyone for your support...Rob

Well then let me prematurely congratulate you on one month Rob!

There's a guy at my meetings who starts each share with these words: "The greatest thing I will do today is to go to bed without taking a drink."

And then he'll do the same thing tomorrow. In a way it's like that "free beer tomorrow" thing, ain't it?

One day at a time, Rob. Before you know it those days turn into weeks, months, then years. It really does work.

Rob, that's awesome news! Keep it happening, enjoy your sobriety, and keep us posted.

Wow, what a difference a month has made - I can 'hear' it in your voice, you're typing in much clearer sentences/blocks.

Congratulations, keep it happening,

ndz
