Sunday night AA chat meeting
I'll be attempting to lead another open AA meeting in the chat room on Sunday night at 9:00 PM Arizona time. Here's a conversion chart for anyone like me who's challenged by the time zones:
US/CA Pacific +0.0 hours =
US/CA Central +2.0 hours =
US/CA Eastern +3.0 hours =
Australia (Sydney) +9.0 hours =
Great Britain +8.0 hours =
(Thanks again nandm for the conversion chart!)
We've had a great meeting the past two weeks and an amazing group of people in recovery. Our topics tend to sway towards staying sober in early recovery, this week I'll suggest a topic of Step 2, "Came to believe that a power greater than ourselves could restore us to sanity". Burning desires and flaming aspirations are always welcome too!
Please join us in sharing our experience, strength, and hope with each other. Hope to see as many of you as possible on Sunday night.
Scott

Hello comfyone, and welcome to SR!
In a chat meeting we try to focus on a topic and share on it. Typcally people join in after the meeting has started so it gets a little fast paced, but we try to maintain the structure of an AA topic and discussion meeting. After all, it's about sharing our experience, strength, and hope with each other, right?

Time Zone FYI
You might want to research this, but I believe your time zone chart would only be correct during Daylight Savings Time....which Arizona does not use.....therefore right now...:
CA/Pacific = -1hr;
AZ/Mountain = 0;
TX/Central = +1;
NY/Eastern = +2;
Aus/Sydney = ?...I always get confused but I believe they are closer to +16
Great Britain = +7
and during Daylight Savings Time just add one hour to each except for Arizona...and also Hawaii...and one more, I can't remember...which don't utilize daylight savings time---therefore AZ = 0, but the rest of the states in Mountain Time would be +1..... (o:
izit clear as mud yet.....? lol
