PURE HAPPINESS!Geez, I can't remember the last time I felt it. It is based on nothing, like "happiness" always was during my drinking days. "Happiness" (as I understood it while drinking), always had something attached...whether it was looking forward to having a drink, or looking forward to an event, like a party, bon fire, etc. where it would be socially more acceptable to be drinking alot, or even something not related to drinking, but that usually had to be something "big"...an event, a bonus at work, etc. Never just "because". I feel HAPPY today, because I AM, my HP is with me and that is it. Holy cow! I didn't even know how badly I missed this until it came back and I recognized it.

Just wanted to share with that with y'all. For anyone who is waiting for this moment in their lives, it comes. I promise. And it is AWESOME when it arrives.

I just love to read a happy post.

I have told a couple people I know that if you try it you might like it. I just love my life today. I think if a person sticks with it to see the benefit is great.

I told people at a meeting in the beginning that I felt like a dog that has been cut loose from a chain. To me it felt free to not be weighed down with drug and drink. Might sound silly but that is how I felt.

Thanks guys! I totally get where you are coming from about being cut loose from the chain. I keep feeling like a laid down a huge burden when I gave up the drinking. Everything in my life is just lighter. Thanks for sharing in my happiness today, guys. Love ya!
