I've never been to a chat room. I'm a dunce when it comes to computers sometimes.

It is pretty easy. Just click on the chat room link and it will take you there. If you have any problems there are several suggestions in the troubleshooting section and in the chat section of the forums.

Would love for you to join in.

I was in the chat room earlier today with nandm and a few other folks, and being new to sobriety they helped me get through a rough hour or two of my day. I was all freaked out since I had a crazy day, and they reminded me that I really should call someone and get out of the house for a while. While these things are fairly elementary to people who have been sober for a while, it never really dawned on me that I NEED to ask for help when I feel like that. I always wait until the storm clears so I don't feel like I'm bothering other people with my problems. Called a buddy from the program and we met up and just talked about random stuff for a while, and I felt better after. He said he was glad to get out of his house, and was glad I called. All the while I was happy that he was willing to help me.

Check it out if you are so inclined, good stuff going on in there.
