:ghug3 PD. Tickers are positive things... I wouldn't make one for you counting down something like that.

* I would do it for stone though

I really feel you on the sleep thing. I am not sleeping much at all and when I do it's not good deep relaxing refreshing sleep either. (yes, yes stoney & ro... still looking into the sleep study. Insurance coverage may vary in your plan etc.).

Buy generic tissues... save $$$.

Mystery solved.. that's PD's shiney ass in stoney's pic!!!

I really like it but I seem to be on my own in that regard.

KOAN:

n.
A puzzling, often paradoxical statement or story, used in Zen Buddhism as an aid to meditation and a means of gaining spiritual awakening.

or

a nonsensical or paradoxical question to a student for which an answer is demanded, the stress of meditation on the question often being illuminating.

I like it... and it qualifies IMHO.

* note the rarity of my opinion being humble.

Perhaps another modern koan :rof?

But aren't you glad he didn't let you think he would, as a nice gesture, give you a second vote. Stone's nice like that. :bounce

Heard in a preview for a movie (can't remember the name of the movie though) :

"That was a nice gesture dear, but unnecessary"

It was some older woman to a girl who had just run out naked in the hallway infront of a bunch of guys.

Or something of that nature. I was busy looking for some candy I had smuggled in my purse so I wasn't paying that much attention :rof.

The nice gesture part was the point .

Here's another Koan for you then .

A Cup of Tea

Nan-in received a university professor who came to inquire about Zen.

Nan-in served tea. He poured his visitor's cup full and then kept on pouring.

The professor watched the overflow until he could restrain himself no longer. "It is overfull. No more will go in!"

"Like this cup", Nan-in said, "you are full of your own opinions and speculations. How can I show you Zen unless you first empty your cup?"
