I am a mom of an addict 19 yrs old and its all new to me so hope I can learn much from all of you! My son is trying to stop I know easier said than done!

keep posting...it's good to have you around, and believe it, recovery is a possibility and a blessing, as a learning experience of personal growth... It's not easy, but life is worth it.
I am 23. . With time i became grateful to go through the experience of building a life again. Looking at it now, it's been a hard journey, but it made me a better and so much stronger person.

I think it's wonderful that you're active in your son's recovery. Have you checked out the Friends and Family forum? Alanon might also be helpful (my mom won't go, but I've heard it's a godsend for most).
As a young addict, I know that supportive parents are the most important thing. So thanks for that--I'm sure your son appreciates it.
