Black Christmas

Well I have say today was one of the Blackest Holidays I've ever experienced. It was just horrible, if it could go wrong it did. I absolutly feel like crap and cant wait to call it a day.

I never needed a reason to drink but it always helped when I could blame it on something other than the obvious. To admit that I was an alcoholic was just to honest and just to obvious. As Black as things seem God is at work somewhere doing something. So glad the obsession to drink has been removed. Thank God for reaching out and asking for help. Thank-you God for my sponsor the 12 steps and AA....

I do hope everyone's Holiday was a sober one, filled with, Love, Laughter, and joy. God Bless

All Good Things,

Today was a success, an investment in your future, because you chose not to drink. How wonderful!

:day4 You gave yourself a great present by getting through the day sober, using your steps, posting here and whatever else you did. It wasn't as black as you may feel right now and:

Tomorrow is another day .

Hi Everyone,

Yes tomorrow is another day...more snow and more on the way for tomorrow. It is coming fast and furious this winter.

My daughter called from Seattle and it was snowing there...but their snow goes down the drain pretty quickly.

They stayed home for Christmas and are cooking dinner later. She is a lawyer and he does some fancy thing at fancy resturants...if that makes any sense.

I will see my doc on Friday morning so hope the time goes quickly. My little dog is begging for her food and the Airedale is talking to me about getting her food...so guess I should go. They both remind me of the talking dogs in the movies...so fun.

Having read your post Treasure i think weighing it up your day wasn't all bad. You have an inner strength when the going is tough and that is something that we all need to prosper.Best wishes for the remainder of the holiday.

Thanks everyone Divorce is eminent and its ok I did the best I could. If I continue to work the steps and continue to put my faith and love in Gods hands I'll be able to walk away sober and with a clean conscious.

Did anyone mention New Years party
