Friday Night Safe
Hello All- Just checking in...I am safely esconced at home with wife and 4 kids...I was out and about for awhile but diddn't let the thoughts control my actions...though the thoughts were there. I was actually back in an old neighborhood where I did years of hard core drinking/drugging ...it was like returning to the scene of a crime ( actually...it is the scene of a crime...many) My daughter was at a birthday party and I had to pick her up. Every corner, every abandoned house, every street held a using memory...it was eerie. Anyway, the point is I didn't drink today. SO tomorrow I awaken to day 5 and hope. Thanks everybody |
