I am in a family of serial cell-phone killers.

The last cell phone I had, I dropped in the toilet (clean water, thank you very much). It didn't dry out fast enough, so I bought a new one. 2 days later, the toilet-phone worked just fine, but I liked the new one so kept it.

Tue. night at work, my new phone fell in the bucket of mop water It is still drying out, and no - it's not working a program In fact, it's just not working. I had to go back to use the toilet-phone but was aggrevated because I had WLDKATZ's new phone number in the phone that is now dead (luckily she just called and I have her number again).

Today, had to go back to Verizon with my niece's phone - she got the charger stuck in it and when she yanked it out, pulled out part of the phone. I just got her phone fixed for $50...that's her Christmas present.

Verizon says they make a waterproof phone...guess I better check into it.

Hugs and prayers!

Amy

My whine for today:
People who do not clean up after their dogs. I went out today and right in the middle of my sidewalk was a huge pile of dog poop!. I almost stepped in it. Fortunately it was someone else's footprint in it not mine. Yuck!

I am thankful that I was taught that part of the responsibility of having a pet is to clean up after it. I take that so literally that I have a little plastic fire hydrant on my dogs leash that has poop bags in it so I have them handy.

Always good to see good dog owners around, especially if they like beagles....lol

My other whine today. I was playing around with my avatar and now I can't get my dog uploaded again. So I am stuck with sleeping santa with a baby asleep on his stomach. Guess I should be happy though as that is festive...lol

Oh I do hate to whine so close to Christmas, but for the life of me I can't figure out the new PM thingy and how all those Friend kinda people got in there.

I love you all, and consider you all my friends, but dang'd if I'm going to tick or click anything in there. I may never send another private message.

Sometimes change is just too much for this codie.

Ann, one of my inlaws (multiple marriage debacles)

actually gave my husband at the time an anniversary card that read ...

"For My Son .. and his Wife."

:rof

may as well have said -
"For My Darling Boy ... and ...HER..."
"For The Dearest Son In History ... and the Ho ..."
For the Reason I live each day ... and his B1tch" ...

we framed it.

We had a friend who was getting married for the third time to a great gal with a sense of humour...so we bought towels that read "Frank's" and "Her's "

They lasted 24 years, but he's working on number 4 now.

That's great.

Yeah. We had us a little war there.
I framed it -
and put it so it was the first thing you saw when you came in the front door.

Got the word out ... so to speak..

LOL

Today I would like to present, a whine within a whine: Why do I keep whining about the past and what I don't have anymore, when today I have much more hope than I ever did before? I wouldn't really want to go back there, so why whine about it?
