i'm doing allright (??)
Heya guys,
It's some time ago I became a member of this site, and told my story. I'm clean and feeling pretty good actually. Don't have much anxiety, or withdrawl symptons. There is a danger in that fact, things going smoothly, but i'm also aware off this.
I work out a lot, I meditate, eat healthy and sleep a lot, so far it works!
excellent!
altough i'm not a member of AA or MA or some other organisation, i appreciate this website a lot and it helped me a great deal.

Glad you're going well. I hope it continues to work.
This I think is a problem for me. I only decided to try & quit drinking last Thursday. I just stopped and it wasn't too bad as I didn't have many physical withdrawls. But I know I have a drink problem.
Anyway, by Sunday I was feeling good and pleased with myself. I had recently started cycling again and the last couple of training sessions (after not drinking) went well. Sunday night is the night of my favourtite TV prog, and my gf was coming round for a nice meal.
All these things are big drinking triggers for me - good day's cycling, good company, nice food, good tv... I gave in and had a bottle of wine.
I feel bad about that today.
I am off to my first AA meeting tonight - there is one very local.
